The Unbeliever

Meera Kapoor.

Naam hi kaafi tha.

Power suits, Louboutin heels, and a stare cold enough to freeze fire. CEO of K-Rise Enterprises, born into Delhi's elite political dynasty and trained in boardrooms before birthdays.

Love?

"Please."

She didn't believe in distractions. Emotions were for the weak. And pyaar? That was for dreamers.

Meera (calmly sipping her black coffee, eyes glued to the skyline):

"Mujhe kisika pyaar nahi chahiye. Zindagi ka asli maza business aur success mein hai. Pyaar sirf ek illusion hai."

The assistant standing nearby flinched slightly. But she was used to it. Everyone was.

Meera's mornings started with investor calls, back-to-back meetings, and strategic warfare dressed as business deals. She loved the game.

People didn't see her as a person.

They saw her as a brand.

And honestly? She preferred it that way.

Elsewhere...

Mumbai ka ek aur naam – Ayaan Malhotra.

CEO of PixelDreams Tech, boy-next-door smile with a heart full of shayari and startup dreams.

Soft hoodies, messy hair, and a playlist full of Arijit Singh.

He had everything money, fame, looks.

But his heart?

That was still waiting for her.

Ayaan (grinning while playing with a paperclip, talking to his best friend Kabir)

"Tu dekh lena Kabir, ek din main us ladki se milunga. Jo meri aankhon mein sapne padhegi. Jo mere saath... sab kuch jeeyegi."

Kabir rolled his eyes.

"Bro, tu CEO hai ya SRK ka lost twin?"

Ayaan laughed. But deep down, he meant every word.

Two people. Two worlds.

One who didn't believe in love.

And one who lived for it.

Destiny, however, was already flipping the first page of their story.

And it would begin not with a spark.

But with a stare.
